Research Interests
My area of interest is Planetary Health with an emphasis on climate change, the built environment, natural disasters, and policy development. I believe that everything in our planet’s natural systems is interconnected and has tremendous impacts on not only human health but the health of all beings.
A harmonious relationship between humans and the planet is necessary for our health. The changes to natural life support systems are already impacting our health. I would like to further explore how the relationship between humans and our environment can be preserved and flourish.

More about me!
Hobbies: I am very involved in sports, especially hockey, I played for 12 years and have now coached for 5 years. Being active outdoors is my favourite pastime, you can find me running, hiking, skiing, swimming and going out and exploring British Columbia. I also love to travel - my favourite destination thus far has been Thailand!
My Deepest Connections to the Environment - My deepest connection to the environment is when I hike or am near a body of water. Being in these settings clears my mind and allows me to be at peace in the moment. I take every opportunity I can to be outside enjoying this amazing province.
