Research Interests
I am drawn to the RESET lab's dedication to advancing eco-social health equity through community-driven methods. Their emphasis on understanding the interconnections between human health and ecosystems resonates deeply with my academic background in health sciences.
My interests lie in promoting health equity and focusing on how social detriments of health impact maternal and child wellness and Indigenous health. More specifically, I am dedicated to understanding how social determinants of health shape the well-being of vulnerable populations amidst environmental challenges. Throughout my honors journey, I aim to advance my research methods to explore the intersection of climate change and perinatal health within Northern B.C. Indigenous communities.
