More About Me!
Hobbies: I love nature walks and long hikes with rewarding views. I enjoy drawing and painting when I can make the time and I am also deeply in love with my doggo and enjoy the many walks that we take together. Swimming in natural water bodies is another joy in my life and I am currently trying to teach my hydrophobic dog how to not fear the water.
My deepest connection to the environment: As I get older, I keep discovering how deeply connected I am to the environment around me. I feel lucky to live in a place where I can easily access water bodies and stunning hikes that remind me of my relationship with nature. I am especially grateful for the natural blessings we have here in the lower mainland, like the fresh air, some clean water bodies, and the shade from trees that keeps us cool in summer. Lately, I have been fascinated by the healing herbs growing in these natural spaces and the properties they possess. It sparked a new passion in me to identify plant species (thank you iNaturalist) in both urban and natural areas and discover their unique qualities.
