The intersections between her passions for community-based health promotion and formal educational background and professional experience with communication operations and strategy, have inspired her to pursue extracurricular opportunities, like RESET, related to public health intervention.
Upon completion of her Bachelor's degree she plans to complete a Masters of Public Health with aspirations to work in health communications!

Melody brings professional written and digital communication experience to RESET and leads the lab’s production of personable (social media; blog posts) and formal outputs (website text; video production).

Being born and raised in Vancouver, a place with such a diverse landscape, has cultivated a deep appreciation for the way that nature’s resiliency to exist amidst urbanization/industrialization. She is proud to be able to, and passionate about supporting local farms, resources and businesses which are environmentally conscious.
Outside of her studies and work, Melody enjoys the performing arts and loves to cook and bake!
